This morning, I saw this fabulous science project to grow seeds in drinking straw on the blog above. I got so excited by this project that I brought DD1 to the Whole Foods Market to buy organic wheat berries. When we go back to school, I am going to try out this project with my 4th grade students. Science rocks!

| Roll up a piece of paper towel into the straw. Add water to wet the paper towel. Drop a wheat berry on top of the paper towel. |
